Announcement of Kaoutar Boudarraja’s Passing

On behalf of the Boudarraja family, I am confirming the passing of Kaoutar Boudarraja on Friday, June 27, 2025, which corresponds to 1st Muharram 1447, after a long and courageous fight with cancer.

I am not speaking here as an official spokesperson, but simply as her brother. Kaoutar was not only a public figure. She was a woman who carried strength in everything she did. She was a present and loving mother, a protective and loyal daughter, and a sister who always stood her ground. In every part of her life, she remained a fighter.

Kaoutar was not interested in attention for its own sake. She chose to speak when it mattered, and she stayed silent when she felt silence was the right response. She used her voice with purpose, and never allowed the spotlight to change who she was. Her values guided her, both publicly and privately.

She lived her illness with the same determination that guided the rest of her life. Until the very end, she stayed true to herself. As her family, we are grateful to everyone who supported her with care and respect. Progress has been made in many areas of medical care and support, but there is still more to be done to ensure access to dignified and fair healthcare for all.

Honoring the deceased means laying them to rest. In line with her wishes, Kaoutar was buried the same day, following Friday prayer, in a private family setting. She was a woman of faith, deeply committed to modesty and privacy, and she had made it clear that this is how she wanted things to happen. We ask that this decision be respected with the same dignity she carried throughout her life.

The family is now taking time to grieve and pray for her in peace. We thank everyone who has reached out or expressed their support during this time of remembrance.

For any request, please contact us through the following email: contact@kaoboudarraja.com

Kaoutar is no longer with us, but the mark she left remains. Through her choices, her voice, and her strength, she continues.

رحمها الله رحمةً واسعة، وجعل مثواها الجنة.
