Legacy Contribution Policy

1. Introduction

This Legacy Contribution Policy governs any content you submit through the "Legacy Contribution" form or any other contribution channel made available on our Websites in connection with the Kaoutar Boudarraja Legacy Archive (the "Archive").

The purpose of the Archive is commemorative, documentary, and educational. It exists to preserve and share the life, work, and impact of Kaoutar Boudarraja.

By submitting a Contribution, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this Policy.

2. Definitions

For clarity, the following terms are used in this Policy:

Company ("we", "us", "our"): Soufiane Boudarraja and the Boudarraja family, acting as operators of the Archive and the related Websites.

Websites: The domains operated by the Company that host the Archive, as listed in Section 3.

Archive: The Kaoutar Boudarraja Legacy Archive and any related collections of media and documentation maintained by us on the Websites.

Contribution: Any content you submit, including but not limited to text, stories, testimonies, images, audio, video, documents, links, or metadata.

Contributor ("you", "your"): The individual or entity submitting a Contribution.

Third Party: Any person other than you and the Company (for example, other family members, friends, colleagues, event participants, photographers, broadcasters, or rights holders).

3. Scope

This Policy applies across the digital offerings operated by the Company, including:

  • soufianeboudarraja.com (including all      pages and subdomains)

  • soufbouda.com

  • kaoboudarraja.com

  • soufiane-boudarraja.com

  • consultingbysb.com

  • boudarraja.com

This Policy applies to all Contributions submitted via the "Legacy Contribution" form or by any other method that clearly indicates the content is intended for inclusion in the Archive.

This Policy does not apply to content we collect independently through public sources, licensed media, or private family archives. Those materials are governed by the Legacy Archives Policy.

This Policy operates alongside our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, DMCA Policy, Human Rights Policy, Accessibility Statement, Tribute Page Policy, and Impressum / Legal Notice.

4. Nature of the Archive and use of Contributions

The Archive is non-commercial. Contributions are used for commemorative, documentary, and educational purposes only.

By submitting a Contribution, you understand and agree that, if accepted, it may be:

  • displayed on the Websites as part of the      Archive;

  • used in timelines, galleries, contextual      articles, or curated sections of the Archive;

  • quoted or referenced in related materials      (for example, exhibitions, talks, publications, or tribute projects)      directly connected to the Archive and the life and work of Kaoutar      Boudarraja.

We will not sell or license your Contribution as a standalone commercial product. Any use remains tied to the non-commercial purpose of the Archive.

5. Rights you grant to us

By submitting a Contribution, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable licence to:

  • host, store, reproduce, and display the      Contribution;

  • adapt the Contribution for technical or      editorial reasons (for example, formatting, minor corrections,      translation, or excerpting for space and clarity);

  • include the Contribution in current and      future versions of the Archive and in materials that explain, present, or      preserve the Archive.

This licence lasts for as long as the Contribution forms part of the Archive. You may later request removal under Section 9, but we are not obliged to recall physical materials or remove content already used in printed works created before your request.

You retain ownership of your Contribution. This Policy does not transfer copyright to us.

6. Your responsibilities and assurances

By submitting a Contribution, you confirm that you are the creator of the Contribution, or that you have obtained all necessary permissions from the relevant rights holders to submit the Contribution under this Policy and to grant the licence described in Section 5.

You confirm that your Contribution does not infringe any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights, does not violate any person's privacy, image, or personality rights without appropriate consent, and does not contain unlawful, defamatory, hateful, or intentionally misleading content.

If your Contribution includes images or videos where other individuals are clearly identifiable, you confirm that, where reasonably expected, you have obtained consent from those individuals (or, in the case of minors, from their parent or guardian). You understand that they may also contact us under the Legacy Archives Policy if they wish to request review, restriction, or removal.

To the best of your knowledge, the information you provide is accurate and presented in good faith. Where you are sharing memories, impressions, or personal interpretations, you are doing so honestly and without intent to harm.

You remain responsible for your Contribution and for any consequences arising from material that you submit in breach of this Policy or applicable law.

7. Names, credit, and anonymity

The "Legacy Contribution" form may allow you to choose how you are credited (for example, full name, initials, or anonymous). We will respect the preference you select on the form where technically and contextually possible.

If you choose to be named, you authorise us to display that name alongside your Contribution in the Archive and related materials.

You may later request that your name be removed or anonymised in future uses, subject to technical and practical limitations for material already published, especially in printed or offline formats.

8. Our right to review, edit, or decline Contributions

All Contributions are subject to review before publication. Submission does not guarantee acceptance or publication. We may, at our sole discretion:

  • accept and publish a Contribution as      submitted;

  • edit the Contribution for clarity, length,      spelling, or formatting, while preserving its substance;

  • translate the Contribution in whole or in      part;

  • group or reorder Contributions for      curation purposes (for example, by period, theme, or type);

  • decline to publish a Contribution;

  • remove or restrict an already published      Contribution.

Reasons for declining, editing, or removing a Contribution may include legal risk (copyright, defamation, privacy, or other), misalignment with the purpose or tone of the Archive, duplication or overlap with existing material, or incomplete or unverifiable information.

We are not obliged to provide detailed editorial feedback on decisions regarding Contributions.

9. Requests to update or remove a Contribution

If you have submitted a Contribution and later wish to correct, update, or remove it, use our contact page: https://www.soufianeboudarraja.com/contactand select the topic "Legacy Contribution". In your message, please provide:

  • the email address and name you used when      submitting the Contribution;

  • the page URL (if available) or a clear      description that allows us to identify the Contribution;

  • the action you are requesting (for      example, correction, partial removal, full removal, anonymisation).

We will review your request in good faith and respond with one or more of the following:

  • confirmation that the requested change has      been made;

  • an alternative proposal (for example,      anonymisation instead of full removal); or

  • an explanation of why the Contribution      must remain as part of the historical record (for example, where it has      already been incorporated into curated materials).

10. Data protection

Information you provide as part of a Contribution (for example, contact details, background metadata, context) will be processed in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

We will use your contact details primarily to acknowledge receipt of your Contribution, contact you with questions or clarifications, inform you about decisions regarding publication or editing, and respond to later requests under Section 9.

We will retain only the minimum necessary personal data needed to document your Contribution, manage the Archive, and comply with legal obligations.

11. No payment or compensation

Contributions are made on a voluntary basis. You understand and agree that you will not receive payment, royalties, or other financial compensation for your Contribution, and that you are contributing for the non-commercial, commemorative, and educational purposes described in this Policy.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update or modify this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this Policy reflects the most recent revision. Where appropriate, we may provide a notice on our Websites. Continued use of the "Legacy Contribution" form after changes are posted constitutes acknowledgment of the updated Policy.
